Member
Qualified Prosthetists, Orthotists and Prosthetist/Orthotists
Student
Students engaged in a full time UK undergraduate Honours degree in Prosthetics or Orthotics (or post graduate programme) who are not undertaking any clinical practice
Graduate
Recently graduated Qualified Prosthetists, Orthotists, and Prosthetist/Orthotists within their first five years of practice
Non-Practicing
The Non Practicing Category is open to Qualified Prosthetists, Orthotists and Prosthetist/Orthotists who are not employed in or associated with the prosthetics and orthotics industry in any capacity; It is also open to current members who are taking maternity/paternity leave as this will allow them to remain a ±¬ÁÏ³Ô¹Ï member and receive updates as well as being covered by insurance for work carried out whilst a Full Member
Retired
Retired membership is open to those who have held membership or affiliation to ±¬ÁÏ³Ô¹Ï within the last five years and are not currently practising in any capacity
Technician Associate
Technicians working within the Prosthetic or Orthotic industry
Assistant Associate
A person qualified to practice Orthotics or Prosthetics in a limited area
Affiliate Professional
Any other health professional working within the fields of prosthetics and/or orthotics, such as a bioengineer, doctor, nurse, or allied health professional
Affiliate Individual
Any individual with an interest in the prosthetic and orthotic profession
Membership can be paid in full or by direct debit to spread the cost throughout the year; and you can claim a tax rebate on the full amount (guidance on tax relief here).
